I'm very proud to announce that TDS Inspection is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. For 2 decades now, I've been at the helm of this fine company, which started out on small contracts from Hydro-Québec in 2004. My office was in my basement back then! Today, TDS Inspection is recognized for the quality of its services.
Today, we're based in Terrebonne and rely on a team of 25 to 45 employees. In addition to Quebec, we export our quality and know-how to the Maritimes and Ontario. We added a Telecom Division in 2018 due to strong demand from Quebec's FTTH Program. We have developed our own field data collection system, which greatly pleases our customers, mainly because of the speed and clarity of the field renderings and the ease of transferring our data into their own database.
Our customers are very important to us, and I'd like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank those who have placed their trust in us: Hydro-Québec, Telus, Bell, Télécon Design, TCI +, Sogetel, Cima+, Viasat (now Effigis), the municipalities of Alma, Baie-Comeau and Saguenay, Cascades, BRP, and SNC-Lavalin(now Atkins-Realis).
I would also like to thank those who have supported us financially over the past 20 years: Desjardins Entreprises, BDC and CLDEM les Moulins and Investissement-Québec.
Our employees are the DNA of our company, and we couldn't have done 20 years without them. I'd like to extend my warmest thanks to them, whether they are inspectors, labourers, lifters or administrative staff, for their dedication and passion.
I would especially like to thank my son Simon for his rigor and dedication. He has been my right-hand man for 10 years now, and not forgetting my wife Sylvie, for her understanding and total support, despite my long hours and all-too-frequent travel.
